Although we are a Leicester based organisation we welcome members from any part of the UK.

Benefits of becoming a member

The Apparel & Textile Manufacturers Federation (ATMF) is a not for profit organisation working on behalf of the garment manufacturing supply chain. It’s objective is to be a representative voice to work alongside suppliers, brands, governments, trade associations, NGOs and academic institutes to support, develop, safeguard and promote UK based production.

We are big advocates for onshoring some of our production to support local businesses, safe guard jobs and reduce our carbon footprint on the planet.

Support

Your success is our success.

When you become a member of ATMF you will join a national group of likeminded individuals and businesses sharing the same vision to promote quality locally sourced garments and fabrics.

Being part of this network will enable us to work together to innovate, improve production efficiencies, improve compliance and produce a better quality product.

We assist with access to government grants and funding to help your business stay ahead and continue to grow.

Representation

In the current circumstances more than ever we know how important it has become to have a supplier voice that is represented at all levels.

We aim to be the voice of the garment supply chain in UK. We speak on behalf of our members with the local and National Government, brands, audit bodies and NGOs to promote local businesses and local skills.

We are working with Universities and other professionals in the supply chain to encourage responsible sourcing and sustainability, implement a circular economy, safeguard local manufacturing and in the process reduce our impact on the planet.

We are passionate about local garment manufacturing and making the right noises to ensure we are heard and represented at both the local and national level.

Training

UK has a proud manufacturing heritage and we want to continue adding to this and hence we are working with our partners to upskill, innovate, access resources and talent from local universities, training centres and growth hubs.

Regular webinars are held in collaboration with our partners to keep our members updated.
