We are also in a prime location to work with our Space Centre to design and supply clothing for their outer space programmes.
To this end, R&D will be encouraged and assistance provided in obtaining funding for R&D.

We will promote ways to help the sector to transform to a sustainable, environmentally responsible and ethical industry.
We will encourage the use of recycled fabrics, bio-degradable materials to lessen the impact.
A circular economy will be high on the agenda.
We will also encourage businesses to work towards meeting the city’s target of net zero.
