A rally organised by the Labour Behind the Label for good jobs for the garment workers took place in Leicester on Sunday 1st October.
A huge number of workers in the industry worried about their working future attended this rally to voice concerns regarding their lack of job security and reduction in working resulting from production moving abroad.

Their demands were for decent work, fair wages and a commitment from the brands to source some production locally.
There were many dignitaries and NGOs present including Justice In Fashion (JIF) , Fashion-workers Advice Bureau Leicester (FAB-L) aswell as local politicians and councillors Sanjay Modhwadia, Claudia Webbe MP and Zuffar Haq.
