Richard Osborn, chair LBC CIC, lead the preceedings followed by many keynote speakers.
Two people that really stood out were Sian Lord, amputee, who described her life changing injuries, rehabilitation and adapting to a new life as a result.
Steven McKerrow also shared how he overcame adversity to set up Mouseskins which offers a tailored service to all players seeking to define their hardware and stand out from the crowd.
Both speakers were very inspirational and as an industry we can a leaf out of their book on how adapt, develop and re-invent ourselves.
It also gave ATMF the brief opportunity to share their vision of an Eco park with City Sir Mayor Peter Soulsby.
This was further followed up by attending the event Tackling Modern Slavery organised by Crime Stoppers Trust UK at the City Hall. This event was presented by Lydia Patsalides regional manager East Mids and Aleksandra Majewska , Community Safety Co-ordinator at Leicester City Council highlighting criminal exploitation and how to identify and report this.
